Eonath claimed that he had heard the prayers of the two for years and had come with a solution to end the suffering of both mother and daughter. He had the power to separate their voices and grant them the ability to sing without each other. Although Alera’s daughter was much more excited by the idea, they both agreed that this solution would be best for their relationship. With this, Alera’s daughter left and Alera found she had to fill her days no longer thinking of her daughter, but of herself. She eventually learned to sing on her own and even bagan to enjoy its sound when her daughter returned home. She reintroduced herself to her mother as Naiya and as Alera watched her, she realized how necessary the separation was. The two women were once again able to harmonize their songs in the most beautiful ways and they passed this talent down from woman to woman. Now, mothers and daughters are forever connected through these songs when they argue there are echoes of Alera and Naiya’s dissonant melodies, attempting to find a way to live in harmony once more.
